Lantern Bug

Lantern Bug is also known as "lantern fly" that can be found in three continents - America, Asia and Australia. The genus of Pyrops are found commonly in Borneo rainforest. However, lantern bugs are under the order of Hemiptera then subdivided into sub-order of Homoptera.
Homoptera are characterize by they share the same wing structure and position of rostrum. The rostrum of lantern bugs are adapted to suck the fluid out the sap of flower or plant.
It is interesting to observed the lantern bugs by their beautiful bright patterns but however some people mistakenly assume that the lantern bugs will emit the light be cause of their respectively name. No lantern bug will produce any light.

Groups of Bajaus (Sea Gypsy)

Though the world had rapidly changes through development, modernisation, cultures and ideas. The Bajaus(Sea Gypsies) remain uniquely with their common traditional lifestyle.

They are native to southern Philippines, although their distribution wide across to Malaysia and Indonesia. In my opinion, the migration of the sea gypsies might happen back to centuries ago as they revolution didn't change much among their cousins even though each of the group had develop their own culture, tradition, lifestyle, costume, idea and belief. We actually can see through the similarities among them through the language.
